Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sheetfacade ("the service", "we", or "us"), operated by MailRecipe LLC. By using Sheetfacade you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Sheetfacade lets you connect a Google Sheet as a read-only data source for use in Google Forms — to populate dropdowns, look up values, and autofill fields. We mirror the sheets you explicitly pick into a fast read-only store and serve queries from that store.

2. Permitted use

You may use Sheetfacade only for lawful business or personal purposes consistent with these Terms and applicable Google policies. You agree not to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Connect a sheet you do not have the legal right to share.
• Use the service to store or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing.
• Interfere with the operation of the service, including by sending excessive requests, attempting to bypass rate limits, probing for vulnerabilities, or attempting unauthorized access.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service except where permitted by applicable law.

3. Account responsibilities

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. You authorize Sheetfacade to access the Google Sheets you explicitly pick via Google Picker on this site for the purpose of mirroring and serving them. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your Google account in connection with the service.

4. Customer data

You retain all rights, title, and interest in the contents of your Google Sheets. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share each sheet you connect with Sheetfacade and to allow us to mirror its contents for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You should not connect sheets that contain personal information for which you lack a lawful basis to share, or that include sensitive categories such as health information, payment card numbers, or government identifiers, unless you have separately arranged for such use with us.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep Sheetfacade available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, infrastructure failures, and Google API limits or outages may affect availability. Sync intervals and rate limits depend on your plan and may change.

6. Intellectual property

Sheetfacade, including its software, branding, design, and related materials, is owned by MailRecipe LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks, logos, or other branding.

7. Termination

You may stop using Sheetfacade at any time by removing our service account from your sheet's sharing settings, which immediately stops sync. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risks, abuse, or upon discontinuation of the service. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data mirrored will exactly match your live sheet at every moment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailRecipe LLC and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100), whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MailRecipe LLC and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to the service or Terms

We may update Sheetfacade's features, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, communicated to active users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate reorganization or sale of the service.
